Northern Norton Sound AC Meeting & Election

The Northern Norton Sound Fish and Game will hold a public meeting and membership elections on Wednesday October 8th at 1:30pm.

The meeting will be held via web/teleconference and in Nome at the Nagozruk Room.

Agenda items include the following:
Elections Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary elections
Discussion of the Board of Fisheries Proposals
Overview of the Moose Subcommittee findings
ADFG updates
Discussion of other fish and wildlife topics if needed.

Their purpose includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters relating to habitat, 4) advising the appropriate regional council on resources, and 5) consulting with individuals, organizations, and agencies.
