East Prince of Wales AC Meeting

The East Prince of Wales Fish and Game Advisory Committee will be holding a public meeting and membership election on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at Thorne Bay City Hall, located at 120 Freeman Dr, Thorne Bay, Alaska. The meeting is also accessible via Zoom web/teleconference. This meeting was original on the 6th but got postponed to the 13th. To be eligible to make nominations or vote in an election of a Fish & Game Advisory Committee, you must be a voting-age resident of the area served by the committee as defined in 5 AAC 96.910(10) and attending the election meeting. The areas served by the East Prince of Wales Fish and Game Advisory Committee as defined in 5 AAC 97.005 are Game Management Units 1A, 1B, 1C, 2, 3, and 4. Their purpose includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters relating to habitat, and 4) cooperating and consulting with interested persons and organizations, including government agencies, and encourage youth and elder involvement in committee activities.
